Keith Wilkinson, the former Worcestershire player, joined the club as captain in 1990 after several very successful years with Old Hill. The side spent most of the decade in mid-table and enjoyed some good runs in the National Knock-Out competition reaching the regional stages on several occasions.
Dean Hodgson joined in 1996 after being released by Gloucestershire CCC and scored over 800 runs in his first season. In the same year, Neil Slade bowled well and is awarded a contract with Worcestershire. He is followed a year later by James Ralph who had developed through the KCC junior ranks to become a solid top order batsman who also bowled some handy leg breaks.
Mark Mansell was a prolific run scorer in the side. He made his debut in the mid 80's and was to be a regular first team player for over 30 years including 6 years as captain from 1996.He turned into a reliable all-rounder bowling some very miserly slow left arm.
Another Club stalwart, Paul Mitchell played many elegant innings for whichever team he was selected and was always ready to selflessly help the younger players.
